Traffic Manager

Traffic Manager
Traffic Manager is a free Windows Phone 7 and 8 game that puts you in the role of an air and maritime controller. Your task is to safely land airplanes, dock ships and spacecrafts while looking out for collisions with other vehicles and objects. The game started out as a free time project for Windows Phone Application Challenge Croatia. It placed 8th (out of 35+ contestants) and got an award. The game grew since then into today’s form.

Game mechanics

The goal of the game is to land or dock as many vehicles as possible without causing any crash. Orders to vehicles are given by drawing the path they need to follow (tap and hold, draw the desired path, release the vehicle). Maps have two or more landing / docking sites so be sure to dock the vehicle to the correct site. Vehicles that are correctly docked will change color (to gray). If an imminent crash is detected a red outline will appear around the vehicle alerting you of the danger. Incoming new vehicles are shown by a flashing icon at the edge of the screen. Beware of occasional fog and sun flares as they will cancel all given orders and landing/docking are not possible until it passes.
